Monetary donations

Best Friends Pet Rescue Association is a registered charity, and all donations over $2 are tax-deductible.

Our rescue only exists due to the generosity of the public to help fund the many costs of saving lives.

Each rescue pet receives all the medical and behavioural care they need to prepare them for adoption and we guarantee we will always take a rehomed pet back into our care if needed – we are committed to each rescue pet for the remainder of their life.

This is how your donation can help:

  • $40 will pay for a rescue pet’s vaccination

  • $60 will pay for a rescue pet’s microchip and flea and worm treatment

  • $90 will pay for a rescue cat’s desexing

  • $120 will pay for a rescue dog’s desexing

  • $175 will save the life of a homeless cat or kitten awaiting rescue

  • $250 will save the life of a homeless dog or puppy awaiting rescue.

Material donations

We welcome donations of pet food, kitty litter, toys, leads, collars, beds and flea and worm treatments. We distribute these goodies to our fabulous volunteer foster carers. We have dedicated donation drop-off points in:

  • Wagga Wagga – Foodworks Lake Albert

  • Goulburn – Pets Domain

  • Canberra – by private arrangement

How to make a donation

For monetary donations - transfer your donation to our bank details below and email us with your transaction details and we’ll email you a receipt.
